Tinney Chapel Troubadours & Music Ministry for 10th Sunday After Pentecost
At today's worship at the quintessential country church, Brother Carl Sterling opened the service with This Is The Day, accompanied by Molly Mathis on piano.
Tinney Chapel's animated Song leader, Angela Wylie, brought the congregation to a fever pitch on the day's opening hymn, I Love To Tell The Story, and worked to do the same during the hymn of invitation, Living For Jesus.
Missing from today's Tinney Chapel Troubadours was tenor and guitarist Kevin Tinney.
The remaining Troubadours, Brother Carl Sterling, George Jordan and Roger Schneider on acoustic guitars along with Joe Dan Boyd on acoustic baritone banjolele, performed two songs: At The Cross and One Day At A Time, both with considerable enthusiasm and each drawing favorable response from the congregation.
The Troubadors meet for practice each Tuesday night at 7 pm in the sanctuary outer office area. Anyone with an interest in music for Tinney Chapel is invited to attend.
