LINKS TO Praise & Gospel Concert Performances Sat., April 19

at Tinney Chapel UMC, the quintessential country church, located at 449 County Road 4620, two miles south of Winnsboro on FM 312, then one-fourth mile east on 4620. The concert will end at 8:00 pm and is a great way to prepare yourself for Easter morning: 

AWESOME FREE CONCERT AT TINNEY CHAPEL FAMILY LIFE CENTER SATURDAY, APRIL 19, beginning at 6:30 pm and going until 8:00 pm. Performers confirmed to be there include: 
George Jordan, the original Tinney Chapel Troubadour, 
Gary McMullen, son of the legendary Dalton McMullen of Cater Hill picking and singing fame, 
Michael Gunn, a real musical pistol and a true son of a Gunn, 
Doc Davis, raconteur, balladeer, and washtub bass virtuoso, 
Joe Dan (the ukulele man) Boyd and 
Anita Williams, the Winnsboro Whippoorwill, whose melodious and powerful vocal delivery must be heard to be appreciated, and who also coaxes music from heavenly harp strings. Anita is the spouse of legendary rockabilly pioneer Lew Williams and is creator and facilitator of the unique Winnsboro Online Guide.

TINNEY CHAPEL--The congregation of Tinney Chapel United Methodist Church invites the public to a free music concert Saturday, April 19, beginning at 6:30 pm, in the Church's spacious Family Life Center at 449 County Road 4620, just off FM 312.

Scheduled performers include George Jordan, Gary McMullen, Michael Gunn, Doc Davis, Joe Dan Boyd and Anita Williams, known at Tinney Chapel as "The Winnsboro Whippoorwill" because of her powerful acappella voice and strong vocal delivery. Anita is best known locally as creator and facilitator of the popular Winnsboro Online Guide.

Admission to the event is free and no donations are expected.

Tinney Chapel is located two miles south of Winnsboro on FM 312, then one-fourth mile east on County Road 4620.
